THIS IS ABOUT ME
My name is Dondy Dwipa Prasetyo I was born in Cirebon on November 29, 1998. I was raised by strict parents because my father was an Army soldier on duty at KOSTRAD in Jakarta. My mother is a leader at BNI Bank. I am the second child of two brothers, I have an older brother named Anggit Rubianto who now works at Bank Jabar (BJB). My older sister and grandmother were taken care of by aunt and grandmother because of the busy life of parents who had to be on duty and earn a living for their children but not every day I was with my aunt and grandmother because every parent's holiday was always there for her children. Family relations are very harmonious.
But I always fight with my brother. he was a bad guy and I was always provoked by what he did to me from mocking to disturbing me who was having a rest. Once when I arrived until I was really in a fight and hit him but he did not reply at all instead he hugged me tightly until I stopped beating him. Even though I was in high school, he still did the same thing, but I have responded differently but for now he is not brave enough to trust me for whatever reason. I am a child who is quite active and naughty where when I want something there must be if there is no one will cry until the parents obey that desire.
After I grew up in junior high school I was still a naughty child who skipped classes, joined brawls, fought with friends. Where at that time emotions cannot be controlled properly. But my junior high school is not bad, I still excel in sports such as football, marching bands, basketball. I really like sports. At that time I was able to follow the selection of Cirebon 16th football team. I trained hard to enter the Cirebon city team and was very unfortunate when after being announced in the Cirebon city team as a Goalkeeper after my training the accident fell from the motorbike suffered a severe injury so that I could not represent the Cirebon team in the Suratin Cup. Since that incident I was quite frustrated and sold everything related to football starting from shoes, socks, shin guards, gloves and since then I have not played soccer until I was in high school.
In high school I was looking for sports other than football and basketball. Come to know with Pencak Silat which at that time became Extracurricular at SMAN 2 Cirebon. The martial arts college that I participated in was Merpati Putih. In the past, my motivation to join the pencak silat was to be able to fight so that no one would dare with me. After walking the exercises for 3 months and taking part in the Pencak Silat competition in Cirebon and outside Cirebon. This is where I realized and indirectly changed my character who was once naughty, did not want to be regulated etc. Since I joined the martial arts all that changed because what was learned in pencak silat was not just an aspect of 'fighting' but there were sports, spiritual and cultural aspects . This is where the role of pencaksilat coaches can change myself to be better, calm, not much talk tends to be quiet because what the trainer teaches is not only martial arts but also his spiritual teachings. Being a martial arts warrior is not for style or anything that is negative. After I understood what was pencak silat and for what purpose Pencak Silat as time went by, my initial motivation was to enter silat which faded and became a better person. After being able to change my mindset, I won quite a lot of achievements in martial arts starting from the city level to the jabar level. My highest achievement in pencak silat was becoming 1st place in the region III of Cirebon and 2nd place in West Java. Until I entered the Cirebon City team, but I resigned because I had to focus on the selection of the Police Academy (AKPOL). I failed to enter the police academy and finally I decided to go to a pasundan university
